Hotel San Jorge & San Jorge Hostel
As of September 30th, Hotel San Jorge is providing priority
reservations to aid organizations, relief workers and displaced residents
during post-hurricane Maria relief and rebuilding efforts.
During this period we will be operating on generator-power
with limited hours of power depending on availability of diesel fuel.
While we will give priority to longer-term relief efforts,
We will still accept individual reservations if we have space on a short-term basis.
Please contact the hotel directly at 787-727-1223
We will update as soon as we open the hotel for online booking.
We'll still be the best budget value in San Juan, but based on feedback from our guests - we have also opened a hostel on the second floor terrace are of the hotel.
Hotel Rooms are booked 'per room' and have daily maid service, private bathroom, cable TV, FREE Wi-Fi, phone, air conditioning and full-size (double) beds. Most rooms accommodate two guests, but we also have some single rooms and some 'family rooms' that accommodate up to 4 guests.
Hostel Dorms are booked 'per bed' and are allocated as 'mixed dorm' or 'women-only dorm'. Dorms have a maximum of 4 beds with air conditioning and lockers that you can secure with your own padlock (or purchase one in the lobby). The hostel has shared 'men' and 'women' bathrooms plus a common lounge with cable TV, FREE Wi-Fi, phone, shared refrigerator and microwave. The large garden terrace on the second floor gives lots of space to meet new people. BBQ is available for groups or special occasions with prior arrangement.
Lobby and Front Desk are shared by both the hotel and hostel. We have 24-hour, bi-lingual (English and Spanish) front desk. The lobby has lots of seating, public computer if you didn't bring your own, FREE W-Fi, complementary coffee every morning, vending machines and coin operated laundry & dryer.
To enter the lobby - please ring the doorbell to the right of the front door. When you go out, we'll ask you to leave your key with the front desk clerk - one less thing for you to carry as you explore San Juan!
